These songs were recorded one night of December 2020 in an old house, in a room that does not exist anymore, in Haute-Dordogne, France. I spent a few hours alone in that space, with the light of a few candles and oil lamp, because there wasn’t electricity within the house. I had to use a power extension cord to be able to plug a small recording equipment.

This is pure acoustic, unplugged. There is just one mic in front of the guitar, and another one in the room. The reverberation is from that room, from the old stones of this house, which is why I named this EP “Résonances des Veilles Pierres”. Whatever could resonate through these walls, human emotions from ephemeral existences, past, present and future.
